I have tried this receipe and it tastes very good, with lit bit of changes. Do try this and write your suggestions.
Ingredi ents:
1/2 cup of american corn
1/4 cup of diced carrots
1 large onion
2 to 3 green chillies halved in to two pieces
2 cup of thick poha soaked in steel colander for 10 minutes
1/2 tsp jeera
few sprigs of bay leaf
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
3 tsp lime juice
1/4 cup grated coconut
little oil for seasoning
salt to taste.
1/4 cup coriander leaves cut into small pieces
Method:
Soak poha in colander for 10 minutes. Let the water drain out completely. Meanwhile keep kadai on gas. Add oil, put jeera, allow it to splutter, followed by bay leaf, onion and green chillies. Saute for sometime, don't allow it to turn brown. Add corn and carrot, keep on high flame for couple of minutes and stir it continuously. Add tumeric, poha, salt, stirring it all the while till the steam start appearing. cover it for 5 minutes. Turn off the gas. Garnish with lime juice, coconut scrappings and coriander leaves. Ready to eat.
